Hi togehter out there!
I'M using digikam since 0.6 (or something like that). Now I got a very strange
problem. I can't start digikam. After a while the
splash-screen is there, but nothing happens anymore. On the console I got
this:
uhai at localhost ~ $ digikam
Found dcraw version: 8.60
Starting "strace digikam" shows a lot like this:
[...]
gettimeofday({1196517453, 843928}, NULL) = 0
time(NULL) = 1196517453
stat64("/home/uhai/Fotos/2006/2006-01-02", {st_mode=S_IFDIR|0755,
st_size=4096, ...}) = 0
select(13, [12], NULL, NULL, {0, 0}) = 0 (Timeout)
gettimeofday({1196517453, 846611}, NULL) = 0
write(12, "*\0\1\0q\1\2\0 \0/home/uhai/Fotos/2006/"..., 42) = 42
select(13, [12], NULL, NULL, {0, 0}) = 0 (Timeout)
gettimeofday({1196517453, 848155}, NULL) = 0
time(NULL) = 1196517453
stat64("/home/uhai/Fotos/2006/2006-01-03", {st_mode=S_IFDIR|0755,
st_size=4096, ...}) = 0
select(13, [12], NULL, NULL, {0, 0}) = 0 (Timeout)
gettimeofday({1196517453, 850780}, NULL) = 0
write(12, "*\0\1\0r\1\2\0 \0/home/uhai/Fotos/2006/"..., 42
that's it. No digikam to use it...
Ok, the good message is, digikam starts normal, if the process is in memory
bei shutdown. kde is able to start digikam without any trouble.
Only a few little problems are always here: I get only thumbs of my png. No
big pngs,no editing... I installed digikam new (emerge digikam with use-flag
png and jpg) and libpng. No success...
The second problem is, there is no gps-plugin?! My pictures are on an external
USB-Drive with 320 GB, ext3. This drive I have used with suse 10.1. After
chabging to Gentoo, I had to chmod my files because the user-ID was a
different one. All png saved on this disk with suse are ok, since the date of
change I got no chance to show big pngs or edit them. I guess, there is the
cause for this problem. But what's the matter with my newer files?
This is my system:
gentoo-2.6.22-r5
KDE 3.5.7
digikam 0.9.2-final
kipi-library 0.1.5
Kexiv2-library 0.1.5
Exiv2-library 0.13.0
KDcraw-library 0.1.1
DCraw 8.60
png-library 1.2.21
GPhoto2-library 2.2.1
I got a Nvidia Gforce 5200, Elitegroup 741GX-M with an Athlon 1250 MHz
This Bug I have allready foun, but I it seemed to be an other problem:
