OTOH I use editor very often but I agree that Digikam lacks good viewer.

That would be really nice - eye-candy in some aspects is Good Thing(tm)
and this is one of the places where it could excel.

Simpler thing would be to borrow look'n'feel from KPDF (and in future
Okular) presentation mode.
