[Digikam-users] Right side tabs disappeared

Hi,

I'm using Digikam 0.8.2 on Suse 10.1, 
I have been reading up on Digikam and have noticed that I only have one of the 
tabs on the right side of the screen (Tag filters) the other 4 aren't there. 
Should they be? The screen shots on the web all have them, and the reviewers 
all describe them.
Also, the EXIF information is always blank when using "Image" > "Properties" 
from the main menu.

I have tried updating but to no avail.
