in svn the directory layout is
extragear/
-graphics/
---digikam/
---digikamimageplugins/
-libs/
---libkexif/
---libkipi/
---kipi-plugins

the svn checkout instructions on the digikam website are slightly 
misleading as to the final intended layout.
