[Digikam-users] xbuntu not working with kodak cx6445

I'm a linux newbie - 72 hours!
I want to run linux on my old compaq presario 5204.

I can't get reliable communication with my Kodak camera and easyshare dock.

In Konqueror (browser) I use camera:/ and can see my camera, sometimes it will 
open the camera all the way to the pics, but then not load the pics or 
thumbnails.  Most times it just reports pad parameters error when trying to 
browse down into the cx6445 folder.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
