How to get started with open source contribution?

Hi,

Good to see your interest in open source. Since this is the digiKam mailing
list, I assume you are interested in contributing to digiKam.

First step should be to build digiKam on your local machine. After this you
should use the kde bug tracker at bugs.kde.org to pick up some issues and
start working on whatever you think seems easy to you.
