I get this :

digikam: Cannot save metadata using Exiv2 (/localhome/fabien/Pictures/test04/img_3402.jpg: Failed to open file (w+b): Permission denied (13))
kio_digikampreview: Exif Orientation: 1
digikam: Dirty: /
digikam: Dirty: /test04

albeit all metadata options are unset...

It's the same behavior from the image editor

All tests made with ubuntu 6.0.6 (x86_32 and x86_64 on different PCs), using the latest svn version of digikam, digikamimageplugins, exiv2 and kipi-plugins (with the scripts I put on the website).
