As TIFF reader is used in Exiv2 during crash i suspect that it's a JPEG file
from your camera.

Exiv2 has a command line tool named... "exiv2". Install it and try to read
metadata from image with this tool. If it crash...

But you use Exiv2 0.19. I recommend to update to last 0.21. libkexiv2 and
digiKam need to be recompiled too.
