Hi,
I am about to migrate from KPhotoAlbum to digikam ..
I have migrated the KPA database to the digikam database format with the
kim_2_digikam tool. It seems to create a sqlite 2.1 database. I can
access the db-file with sqlite via the console. It contains 4 tables,
albums, images, imagetags and tags. All tables contain data.
I can not access the db with the sqlitemanager (firefox extension)
When I open digikam and point to the new db, I get a window with the
following error message:
The schema updating process from version 4 to 5 failed, caused by an
error that we did not expect. You can try to discard your old database
and start with an empty one. (In this case, please move the database
files "digikam3.db" and "digikam4.db" from the directory
"/pub/pictures/digikamdb"). More probably you will want to report this
error to the digikam-devel at kde.org mailing list. As well, please have a
look at what digiKam prints on the console.
Console message: QSqlDatabasePrivate::removeDatabase: connection
'digikamDatabase-144147264' is still in use, all queries will cease to work.
digikam creates a digikam4.db file which is empty
Any tips or workaround ?
Thx Hans
