I haven't yet seen any logic within these bugs. Similar bugs could occur in
kate e.g. in the file view there (the kioslave just dies away). The real
problem might not even be kioslave, but rather dbus as well. For those users on
windows here: Please report your operating system and the compiler with which
your packages had been compiled (the one you chose when installing
KDE/digikam). Also since kioslaves are handled via dbus ipc, please check your
firewalls for any issues or checks.
