Does Digikam still use half-size previews? That's what I thought, but when I
tested with current trunk, 100 % full-size preview seems... well... full-size
for me.

Looking at the source, it seems that enabling full-size previews causes
previews to be loaded as normal images, not previews (but I'm not familiar
enough with the source to be 100 % sure).
