Great, thanks so much for the quick fix.
As per your instructions, now compiling the latest SVN version allows 'make' to
get past 2%, but, now unfortunately fails at 52% with the following error:

Any ideas? Has anyone actually successfully compiled digiKam 1.0.0 on a Mac?
Anyway, I'm excited that it made it all the way to 52%, as previously 'make'
kept on encountering errors at the 1-2% mark...
