yes i know. But Vista give me enough informations as well (i love win32)

My modem is a software modem using the sound card to emulate it. the sound
card is an "ATI SB450 HDA Audio" witch is not yet supported as well like a
sound card under Alsa drivers (see in google than it's experimental in Alsa
source code)

About the pseudo win-modem it's use an patent algorithm software witch
cannot be use in opensource world as well.
