No Oliver, The i18n structure is not yet implemented in Exiv2. i must do it.

There will a lot of messages to translate, especially Exiv/Makernote/IPTC tags 
values/descriptions. This sound like libexif have.

For example, open Metadata sidebar tab ans select an exif tag. Press SHIFT+F1 
and click on this tags... All strings in the tooltip appear aren't not yet 
i18n...
