It would also be nice to get a warning about image editor recompressing images upon save after rotating them.  I got a cheap camera that doesn't put rotate info into exif and need to do this by hand.  Up until now I've been doing this while browsing through my images with image editor.  Well today, I discovered that image editor saves them with 75% quality setting, so in last years worth of images of my kids every rotated image is of much lower quality than the untouched ones.  Still slapping my forehead...
