This is my proposal for 0.9.0 release :

Each camera settings (port, path, internal name, and title) is store in a little XML file in the ~/.kde/ settings area. We can add a new XML property from each camera to store the last acces performed by the camera gui to download pictures.

Like this we can identify all pictures with a future date than the last date used to download pictures.

Note: if the camera gui is used with to download pictures, the date in XML file isn't updated.
