Mambo is again a full featured cms system(backend) which also controls
the website(frontend). I have my thoughts because I personally feel more
at home in a simple environment without a confusing backend and a
seperated, independent, frontent.

This way I can change the frontend independent of the used backend and
extend it in a way that I like. But this is only handy for people
actually feeling at home in a programming language like php, which I do.

For example hanging in a aggregation of blogs with help of
planetplanet.org software is impossible with Mambo, while it is no
problem in a seperated front/backend.

Besides, I think the backend of Mambo is not much of an improvement over
spip, with the exception that it actually works ;-) and the php is not
written in French (salut Gilles).

BUT I don't intend to work with it very often, so I don't think my vote
should be a veto. It is more important that the webmaster feels at home
with system.

Tom
