[Digikam-devel] libopenraw to support better RAW files in digiKam ?

Hi all,

To investigate about RAW files support in digiKam, i had found this link :

The goal of libopenraw is excatly what i want to support better RAW files in 
digikam, especially to get metadata and right oriented thumbnails. dcraw do 
not provide method to do it and isn't a library (it's complex to control)

What's do you think about ? there is no libopenraw package by default on 
Mandriva2006. Suse, Debian, RH, provides any packages for that ?
