Yes, this experimental layout seem to be like (a little) showimg or gwenview. 
But showing and gwenview are'nt really image editors like showfoto and I 
won't create an image managment program with showfoto, but just simplify the 
way to open directly all items from a folder.

Perhaps it's not necessary to use a directory selector tab on the layout but 
lets the 'Open Files Fom Folders' option with the directory selection dialog.
