Option to hide the menu

You may be able to do that yourself, by copying e.g. /usr/share/kxmlgui5/calligrawords/calligrawords.rc to ~/.local/share/kxmlgui5/calligrawords/calligrawords.rc, and then find e.g. the <Menu name="settings"> section to which you can add a line

<Action name="show-menubar"/>

Bump the version number on the file's 2nd line by one so that your version of the file is taken into account.

This will presumably get the shortcut automatically.

Similar instructions would apply to the other suite members; if you don't find the file installed in /usr/share/kxmlgui5 it may have been embedded. In that case you can grab it from the Calligra sources (I'd use your distro's command to fetch the sources they use).
