I have worked on it but it proved to be much more difficult that I first 
thought. I won't be able to work on it any more before the weekend because I 
will have house guests at home on friday evening until sunday.

I'm not sure it should be treated as a release blocker because it has been 
there for many releases already and you have to go through a set of very 
specific motions to trigger the crash.
