Problem is that the text label is only available with the sidebar, not in 
programs which the tools selector. E.g. create a new document in Karbon and 
add a Text shape, then activate the shape. In the tools selector you will now 
see just the icons of all the text tools, incl. the reference tool, the text 
is only available as tooltip.

So the icon needs to be "working" on its own.

Still thanks for giving it a try. A first draft is in any case a good 
reference point to talk about what is needed and what is not.

And I hope for somebody to pick up your proposal and develop it further, until 
satisfaction is reached (and not just by me, other opinions wanted!).
