news from Debian packaging

Hi,

The Debian packaging for Calligra is progressing and we have some questions
to ask :

– the two libs « libbraindumpcore.so » and « liblibrcps_plan.so » raise a
lintian error « shlib-without-versioned-soname » :
http://lintian.debian.org/tags/shlib-without-versioned-soname.html

– Are the fonts from the formulashape in plugins/formulashape/fonts still
used in Calligra ? Should we include it or not ?

– In the Koffice packaging, kformula has its own package, but now we would
like to put it directly in calligra-libs. We would like to know where the
lib « libkformula.so » is used ? It seems used in filters/kformula, but this
part seems disabled at compile time.

– the jpeg filter for krita does not compile with lcms2 and, worse, makes
the cmake run fail if there are no lcms2 headers installed.

Once these points will be solved, we planned to put the beta version of
calligra in the experimental repository of the Debian Qt/KDE team :
http://qt-kde.debian.net/

Thank you for developping this software,
