The only thing we're really waiting for is the board's answer about koffice and koffice.org, right? The individual application names can wait, except for kword, if needed, even until the next release.

I'll do that -- he's probably totally unaware of any issue. The biggest issue there, if I understand Casper correctly, is probably going to be the integration of his changes back into one or another KOffice version.
