Indeed.

Never done that... for me, it's things like the context tab with lyrics,
wikipedia information, and the ability to rearrange the panels as I like
them. To minimize space, I prefer to have two panels, one for the
playlist, and one with two tabs for context and media [*]. I do not need
an external tag editor. I use Amarok by global shortcuts, or by commands
like 'amarok -p'. I can drag files directly from Amarok to file managers
or utilities like soundKonverter.

All in all, I am a very happy user. Despite the occasional problems - it
often crashes on the first start, and sometimes even when I start to play
a file. But normally it works fine, and I do not know a better player.
Okay, I hardly know ANY other players, but I cannot imagine any more
using players like XMMS/WinAmp, or the old Amarok 1. Great job, really!

Hmm, I don't understand that. For me it looks great, but as I said, I do
not know many other players, so maybe I just don't know what I'd be
missing.
But I like the KDE look, using standard widgets, not implementing
someting that tries to look exactly like what an actual real HiFi system
would look like.
