I have a lot of music that I prefer to listen to with different EQ settings. True, I usually leave these settings in place (ie have a default headphones setting, and have a default speakers setting which I change if I move my computer to a different room), but I have some tracks that are mixed by amateurs that sound much better if I do some EQ fiddling. Also, the settings I usually leave set for my college room, for example, is more of a 'good for everything, but not great for anything' setting.

I'm sure there are lots of others like me that really love EQs and use them a lot. If there was an feature to set EQs for individual songs, I would deffinately use it.

Relating to the original proposition of a 'less hidden' EQ, I also think this would benefit a lot of users.
