last.fm: suggested artists...

Well I created a script for amarok which approximately does something like
that. I use last.fm's similar artist feature too but i throw in some more
ingredients to get a "better" (at least in my eyes) suggestion for similar
artists for the one which is currently playing.

At the moment i'm more or less in a complete rewriting mode for the script
again and this time i want to use the actual audio-data (read signal
analysis, svm, distance-matrixes...) to generate a list of similar artists,
something that SHOULD get a more accurate estimate for similar artists
(don't know yet, i just have the basic pieces together). Soren Harward who
is a amarok developer i think, is or was working on something similar. i
dunno what the current state of his work is. At one point it was actually in
amarok-svn but i think his changes were reverted later on.
