2.2 -> 2.2.1 causes track loss in local collection

Hi all,

Fedora 11 recently pushed out 2.2.1. With this update, a number of songs
in my local collection have gone missing.

The affected albums and artists are still shown in the collection, but
their entries expand to nothing. The affected albums that were recent
are now shown in the Albums applet as "0 tracks". The files themselves
are sitting on disk as before. I have tried to update the collection, a
full rescan, including touching the files to change their timestamps, to
no avail. When I move the files away and put them back in place, Amarok
finally sees them again, but this approach doesn't scale to the size of
my collection since I do not know which songs are affected by the loss.

I see the same loss problem on another machine that I recently upgraded
to Fedora 12, which likewise ships 2.2.1.

Pointers on how to fix this are very welcome.
