Various Artists Summer of Code project

Hey,
I was looking over the SoC projects and saw various artist support in Amarok
as one of the options.  I have loved Amarok for a few years and would love
to contribute to it.  Various artist support stood out to me as something I
would love to see improved.  I have some ideas I would like to get feedback
on before I submit a proposal.  It seems like like a heated topic of
discussion and I would prefer to create a solution satisfactory to many as
opposed to what I feel is best.  If irc is a better means for this, my
username is kevlar0, and I should be in both the #amarok and #kde-devel
channels.
