db volume scaling

Whether the volume meter presents values in % form or a dB seems to be
a matter of presentation to the user.

The user won't realize what's going on under the hood, and he
understands the idea of % better, even if he's not sure exactly what
the accuracy of that scale is.  0% and 100% make a lot more sense to
me than 0dB and -60dB, and "60dB" will have no real meaning for a
non-dB-conscious user.

Whatever you guys do internally to the volume scaling is fine with me.
 As long as no one messes up ReplayGain.  :)
