layout changes on resize

The basic issue is that we do not have a central widget in the QMainWindow
and instead have 3 docks with only 2 places to dock.

This means that at least 2 of the docks have to sit on the same dock area.
Qt handles resizing of docks on the same dock target in a bit of a strange
way. I honestly do not know id there is a an easy way around this.
