Amarok stopping playback seemingly "at random"?

I've experienced this problem as well but have not taken any steps to
track down the root cause.  If you have the PulseAudio Manager
installed, you can go into the "Clients" tab, select "amarok" from
that tab and kill it.  Playback should resume from the spot where it
hung to begin with.
