Special Charakters & Media-Players

Hi @all!

I currently use Amarok 1.4.4 (Debian Etch) and would like to have amarok 
format the names of files copied to my usb-mp3player in a specific way. 
Unfortunatelly some album-strings contain special charakters like ": or ?". 
Is there an option to automatically have them converted to "safe" charakters, 
like there is on collection-management?
