Bah. This should work.

This too should work. Try logging out/back in and trying Amarok again.
If this works I'll enable this installer "feature" in the ppc package.

Thanks for testing. It looks like the ppc packages still have some way
to go. I'll try to work on these tomorrow.
Thing is, this works on my intel machine w/ rosetta.
can you run this command on the terminal and paste the result back here?

lipo -info /opt/local/lib/mysql5/mysql/libmysqlclient.16*
