This seems to be a bug we recently closed because it seemed to have 
disappeared with the new database. Check you have deleted all of 
~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/.

If your problem persists, please reopen 
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171197 giving us as much detail as you can 
about your setup so we can work out why its no happening to everyone.
