two cover art questions

Greetings,

Is it possible to drag and drop cover art into Amarok?

Copy Cover (1.9) does not to write images back successfully to the
song's folders. Is there some setup, preparation or configuration
necessary?

amarok 1.4.8
opensuse 10.2
kde 3.5.8
postgres backend
collection mounted via cifs, from fstab:
//192.168.1.1/music /home/john/music cifs iocharset=utf8,_netdev 0 0
