Hello,

I have found the cause of the UI hang on solaris. It was not the KDE libs.

In xine-engine.cpp the function call
xine_set_param( m_stream, XINE_PARAM_AUDIO_CLOSE_DEVICE, 1);
causes a huge pause.

If I comment it out, and rebuild, amarok behaves normally.

What would you recommend?
