Amarok 1.4.5 and 1.4.6 freeze

It can't be Fedora specific, as I got exactly the same behaviour and problems 
here on Kubuntu. It can't be Kubuntu's package either, cause I have tried 
compiling 1.4.6 myself (which went through without any problems) and it still 
doesn't work properly (it works, but with said freezes).
Xine does work fine with Kaffeine.
