Well, that indeed would be nice, although one can now assign the same Artist? 
Album, Track, Year, Composer and Genre tag to many tracks at once. Try 
selecting multiple tracks, right-clicking and selecting "Edit information for 
XX tracks"

Use the copycover script, Luke :)
