Amarok freeze in Mediabrowser

Hi,

Scratch my last post as idiotic, you clearly said the lock-up happened when 
manipulating files ON the device, and I must be having an obtuse day.

Have you ruled out a stuffed-up file system on the device itself? I'm using a 
UMS device and it's just dandy for me (which is unhelpful, I know, sorry).
