I don't know if this fits in this category or not, but here's a feature
request I'd really like to see in Amarok 2.0, and which I think would be
useful to a lot of people.

I have quite some CDs that I ripped as a single file, with associated
cue file, and although it is nice to have the cue sheet appearing in the
context browser, I think we should be able to listen to separate songs
in the cue file as if they were "normal" mp3s on the hard disk drive.

This would also make my whole CDs not drop in rating :-) , as when I
only listen to 2 songs in the whole CD, the rating for the whole CD goes
down. The correct behaviour (IMHO) should be:

1. to be able to put only one track from the cue file on the playlist
2. to have separate ratings for each song in the CD
3. ...
4. basically to consider each track on a cue file as a single, separate,
"normal" mp3 file on the disk.

So I guess the view would be the playlist item, and the model a class
which allows access to the disk, with begin and end pointers into the
mp3 file. As you can already play streams in Amarok in the same way as
songs, I guess there must be something similar already implemented.

So, are there any plans for including something like this in Amarok 2.0?
