I'm afraid it's far from perfect...

- some dcop calls that would be needed to make it even better are missing

(get next song, get next album, get fullsize cover, and so on...)

- lots of people don't want to scan the web for scripts to use such an
essential feature

- scripts should be used for non-essential stuff and special-use-cases and
not for things that are in huge demand

- it's poorly integrated into Amarok, you can't start it from within the
player

- scripts = for advanced users

(that may not be true, but I'm afraid that's how it's perceived from lots of
Amarok users)

- people expect this to be in the settings - appearance tab, but nope, its
not there... --> confusing

- people have to additionally compile a feature that should be default

- script doesn't seem to work on some distros --> that would not happen if
it were part of Amarok
