open amarok via ssh

Hi,
If i open amarok via ssh, I get the error:
"xine Was Unable To Initialize Any Audio Drivers"

I see that is permissions problem:

ls -l /dev/snd
total 0

I could change permissions by hand but why is a difference when I open
it locally of when I open it remotely? And how could I fix this?
