It might be a little confusing for a user at first, but I don't see
any widgets which
are unnecessary or surplus. Taking anything away from the UI would be
detrimental.
This isn't GNOME ;).

I suppose it depends on how much of it is used, I use a lot of Amarok features
often, though I have been using it for a long time.
