Just for clarification, we are talking about building the current, and
barely usable, development version of Amarok 2 :-)

As mentioned, I have not done this myself, yet, but a good starting
point would be to set up a KDE4 build environment using the guides
here: http://kdelibs.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

I think a Wiki page with more Amarok2 specific info is in the works! :-)
