Problems using shared MySQL database

i can't try that out, but two guesses :

1. nfs had dynamic collection enabled, sshfs had not;
2. sshfs recieved the same id as the local hdd or something similar.

in the end stuff did not work as it requires identical device path & id 
(and better to have the same mountpoint, too)
