The problem with flac files is due to an error on xine-lib. It is fixed
in xine-lib-1.1.2_pre20060328-r8 current ~x86 in portage.


To the downgrade - i don't think this is supported nor a good idea. But
if you still want to do it might be required to remove your settings and
database (Backup)
