Layout change, next take

Buenos Diaz Muchachos,

now that we have the new context tabs (Amarok style) working since last night, 
I've been testing things a bit more, and I think the new tabs really do help 
to improve usability to a certain extent. Makes the whole thing more 
palatable, as you can now hide the context view with just one click (which is 
handy for me, as the context view is fairly useless for me with my small 
screen resolution).

Also we've been discussing a bit more on IRC, and it's obvious that the dev 
team is divided on the layout issue. Muesli for instance will be very 
disappointed if we revert it; Alex and Ian both see potential in the layout 
and want to experiment with it in 1.4. IMHO the last thing we need is to 
alienate part of our development team.


So here's my new proposal:

Release the beta _with_ the new layout. Collect and evaluate user feedback, 
and try to address possible issues. Then decide if we want to keep the layout 
or not.
