Amarok / Music Store Integration

Hi everybody.  As a follow-up to the recent discussions about creating some 
kind of interface for users to be able to buy music right through Amarok, I 
am forwarding this message that was posted on the Magnatune Discussion forum.  
Apparently someone has written a patch that allows a user to browse the 
Magnatune collection and preview songs right through Amarok.

Hello! 

Just wanted some feedback on a little something I have been working on. I am a 
linux user, and my music player of choice is the exelent amaroK ( 
http://amarok.kde.org/ ). 

I started thinking that it would be really cool to integrate previwing and 
purchasing of tracks from magnatune into this software to create a nice 
integrated experience, and, hopefully, attract more people to magnatune. 

the following shows the results of my work so far. all preview tracks from 
magnatune can be added to any playlist, and artist info is shown. I have 
mailed magnatune if this is somthing they would approve of, and if they are 
willing to help integrating music purchasing.
