Dynamic Collection Concerns

Hi Devs,
I decided to try dynamic collections today. I copied some music to my  
usb flash drive, configured the collection to read from that  
directory. Cool, it added my songs to the collection.

I pulled out my usb drive and Amarok hung. No errors, no nothing. I  
was expecting all to go nicely and those songs to be removed from the  
collection browser.

Whats the deal?
